Emirates (EK/UAE)

The Emirates story began in 1985 when the company launched just two aircraft. With the financial backing of Dubai's Royal family and the part played by Pakistan International Airways, Emirates Airline began to take off. It was one of the first Middle East Airlines to make affordable travel accessible to everyone. The first Emirates flights routes out of Dubai were with two aircraft, an Airbus 300 B4 and a leased Boeing 737. How times have changed. This renowned airline now has a fleet size of around 246 aircraft which fly to approximately 154 destinations in 81 countries from its hub in Dubai. They have a strong presence in the south, south east Asian region, Pakistan, the United States, Australia, China, the UK and India.
